Meet Philippa

For over two decades, Philippa has been creating handcrafted, practical-yet-elegant pieces from her Cape Town studio. Her work - known for its unique textures and sculptural forms - has been featured in international publications like Vogue, Wallpaper, Monocle, and Marie Claire, and worn in fashion shows and editorials by leading designers.

How it Started

Philippa Green’s journey into jewellery design began unexpectedly — during a trip to Mexico while living in London, she stumbled upon a silversmithing school in the village of Taxco. The raw, hands-on process sparked a passion that led her back to Durban to study Jewellery Design, building on her Fine Arts background.

Philippa first gained recognition for her bold, signature cuffs — but over the years, it’s her sculptural rings, organic forms, and statement pieces that have become her hallmark. Known for showcasing striking semi-precious gemstones, as well as for her symbolic pendants and chais, Philippa’s work is rooted in personal expression. She also takes on bespoke commissions, always guided by the belief that jewellery should be meaningful, wearable art — not dictated by trends or status.

Perpetually Outdoors

When she’s not in the studio or shaping metal into sculpture, Philippa finds restoration in the natural world — come rain or shine. Mornings often begin in the surf, while weekends take her to the mountains. Time outdoors isn’t a luxury, but a ritual; a way to stay connected, grounded, and creatively aligned. It’s in these elemental spaces that many of her ideas take root.
